In December 2013 SSI Schaefer ME joined hands with Dubai World Central (DWC) and a few international humanitarian associations, as well as some other Middle Eastern companies, in an effort to provide some comfort to the raising number of refugees that are suffering from the harsh conditions of extreme weather. The humanitarian campaign, Winter Aid for Syria, has managed to procure, due to donations, logistical support and willingness to help, warm clothing and blankets, items that are much needed in the area.
The Syrian conflict has left not only devastation in its path, but also major humanitarian crisis that is deepening across the whole country, with the cold only adding another layer of need. The number of refugees is constantly rising, making the support very much necessary.
SSI Schaefer embarked on a mission to support the cause, involving itself with a contribution, wishing to support the worldwide humanitarian effort.
